Our Story

It's all in a name. Dads Jackets is a name that we love, so let me tell you how it came about. My Dad was a truly amazing man and he was very particular when it came to food. A vegetarian from the age of 20 - in 1954! - the boy's beloved Grandpa was proud to grow his own, including of course potatoes. Looking for a way to honour Dad's legacy, one day in May 2022, we found ourselves sitting at an event watching lines of happy people queuing at food trucks. We decided there was room for one more selling food my Dad would queue up for, and Dads Jackets was born.
